Bringing nearly four decades of experience as a family law attorney to the mediation table.

When you hire Rosa M. Cabezas-Gil to mediate your case, you get 37+ years of family law experience and an in-depth understanding of the Texas Family Code and its application in complex cases. A certified family law mediator since 2016, Rosa reaches legally sound agreements through neutral mediation of disputes involving divorce, property division, child custody, child support, spousal maintenance, and other family law matters. Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, she possesses a proper legal vocabulary, helping to ensure parties fully understand the process and the results.

Rosa’s career began in journalism in the early 1980s, where she worked as an anchor, reporter, and weathercaster for Spanish television before going to law school. After earning her law degree, she built a respected career in family law. Her dedication to the legal profession has earned her numerous accolades, including a 2004 Belva Lockwood Outstanding Lawyer Award from the Bexar County Women’s Bar Association. She has held Martindale-Hubbell’s prestigious AV rating since 1998 and has served as a board member and officer of various legal associations in Bexar County, and as a District 10 Grievance committee member of State Bar of Texas.
